Lately the Nebraska landscape has been a little concerto dry.

Any up coming shows in Lincoln or Omaha?

Does anyone know what I haven't seen in a while?

A local show.

Or the sunrise.

But the music is definitely more important than the turning of the Earth.

Any updates for Lincoln's happenings, I'd like to know.

Hey my name is Mike. I listen to all kinds of music, most recently The Mountain Goats, Iron & Wine, Sun Kil Moon, Erin McKeown, Slo-Mo. I thought this community seemed cool so here I am! I am obssessed with Music, I pratically spend every penny I have on CD's, Records and music pariphinalia. :-P

I think another Community ya'll kids would enjoy

_crystalvillage - its a rating community were aside from rating people that wish to come in we also discuss alot of music and music related thangs! Check it out if interests you!

Do something about that.

I am the artist previously known as Danielle. I actually go by Dani at work now.

I dropped out of the Lincolnite music scene a while ago, but am dead-set to jump right back in. I've listened to a few tracks of recent music, thanks to some good friends. You know who you are.

Who's the MOD here?

And also, does anyone know of any good upcoming shows?

I joined quite a while ago but this is the first time I got around to posting. My interests in midwest rock include a wide range from Her Flyaway Manner to Volara to Signal to Trust to Shellac. I of course go beyond that with the likes of Criteria, Black Black Ocean and Bright Calm Blue. Hell, if I were on a desert island and I had only the bcb ep, it would be my bf in nt flat, omg, lol. Hey. I currently hail from Urbana, IL. There is supposedly a great music scene around here, but I haven't seen much of it in the year that I've been here. Well, I did see Centaur twice and the Poster Children once, but that's about it. Anyone know of any good math rock bands playing anywhere anytime soon? I'm not against travelling to shows if I have someone to keep me awake during the drive. Hell, I used to drive two hours to Chapel Hill, NC and six to Norfolk, VA.

the name's caleb, from lincoln, and i am okay with this being slightly ne-centric.
bands:
bright calm blue (linctown), black black ocean (denver), hfm (lincoln), thunderstandable (lincoln), signal to trust (st. paul), and whatever else that knows how to rock. (an out for my lack of listing skills is that it's early and i'm jittery and listening to mid-80s stuff in a public place.) i miss the heartland and that lincolnite scened.
